The Service Surface Map is a diagnostic tool I built. It takes you through every channel your organisation operates physical spaces, digital channels, assisted services and audits what you currently measure at each one. The output is not a score. It is a map. It shows you where your measurement infrastructure can see, and where it goes dark. If you work in a government service centre, a hospital, a museum, a bank, or any institution that operates in both physical and digital space, this is for you.
LOCATE YOUR INSTITUTION'S GAP
This is a a self-diagnostic tool. Five questions. Each targets a different dimension of the spatial-digital gap. The result is not a score. It is a map: five readings, one per dimension, showing where the gap lives in your institution. Available in English and Arabic versions.
I used a hybrid approach scenario planning as the core structure, game theory as an analytical layer for understanding actor incentives, the Cone of Futures to organise outcomes by likelihood and impact. Currently tool is fixed. Next stage can be to plug in realtime signals and monitor situation. Have a try!
